Sedona
Sedona, Arizona is a unique, special place. Featuring the wonder of what Native
Americans consider the spiritual vortex of the Southwest and absolutely sublime
red rock formations, Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon challenge many national parks
in their beauty.
Tucson
Tucson is one of the oldest towns in the United States. It
celebrates a diversity of cultures, architecture, and peoples. Tucson was
originally an Indian village called Stook-zone, meaning water at the foot
of black mountain. Tucson boasts the best of both worlds...the progress and
innovation of a metropolitan community and the friendly, caring atmosphere
of a small town. Tucson's rich cultural heritage centers around a unique blend
of Native American, Spanish, Mexican and Anglo-American influences.
Grand
Canyon
After
thousands of years of Native American presence in the American Southwest,
the first Europeans arrived at the Grand Canyon's South Rim in 1540. Grand
Canyon became a national monument in 1908 and on February 26, 1919, it was
designated as the seventeenth national park. It is a must see for any visitors
to Arizona. Today, five-million people a year visit the Grand Canyon.
